Well, one - I was off and I wanted to give the team an extra day of discussions to see what we could talk about regarding the next Chapter, tweaks & changes coming in the next update, and, of course, the biggest topic within the community right now.
Unfortunately, nothing to share just yet - the blog and video are being finalized, but we do potentially have a Community Broadcast coming on Thursday.

Do you think I enjoy not being able to share stuff yet? I promise you, I don't. (This isn't a "poor me" post, either. This is the job I have.) If things aren't approved for me to message, I can't share it. But I'm trying to at least respond the question rather than just ignore it.

The reason I'm not allowed to give snippets of info on specific subjects is because the team has announced stuff in the past and missed deadlines or had to rescope - and the backlash from that is just as bad, if not worse, than not saying anything.

I haven't been silent. I haven't said what you want/demand me to say - because I'm not at liberty to make that decision - one way or the other.
But I have talked about it - I've mentioned that I understand how frustrating it is for many with the changes, that I'm sharing the feedback (that isn't 3 words long and has in-depth details on why folks want things reverted), and that I'm waiting on a go-ahead on what I'm allowed to share with the community.
Most of the time anything I say is gonna get downvoted regardless what it is because ... whatever.. but if I comment on a thread, you can see it because of the Reddit bot is putting the comments at the top of the thread.

That is actually not true, Braddock has said a few times that the plan has been to not revert the TTK but to tweak it going forward.

It's not something most of the redditors here want to hear but to say he hasn't said anything simply isn't true.

I hope so. I really do. I'm hopeful that the next couple updates can rebuild a portion of the shattered trust with the community - but I'm not naive. I know there's a lot of anger and I know there's a lot of frustration - not just because of 5.2 & 5.2.2.

There’s two ways to resolve this:

If you’re not unlocking a gun for a class rank, rank up the class to the next level. It should pop and grant your unlocks.

Otherwise, if you’re one of the few outliers that has had this stuck for a while after the update that resolved it (going forward), hit up EA Help and they can look at your account, class rank, and assist with unlocking the item.

Hey Ted,

I'm not a Dev, so I can't make or implement development decisions. Just like you, I'm waiting for information from the team. The community giveaways that I run - they're for members of the community because I choose to do them (I don't have to, really. I can keep the 300+ books I have in my storage closet to build a fort or something.) And the giveaways aren't a "instead of working on the game, they're giving out books". While we (all of us) wait for information on what's coming down the line - both in terms of Chapter 6 and the recent updates 5.2 and 5.2.2, I wanted to give these very nice books out to members of the community.

If it's not something you're interested in, that's totally fine.

Go sign into Origin.com with your account. Then go to the Menu and Account. Should show you all your IDs. No matter what platform you play on, every EA Account has an Origin ID.

UPDATE ON FORT BRADDOCK:
Our facilities team in LA is moving stuff around the storage room I have everything in, so I have to take the pic on Monday. :( Disappointing, but it gives me time to really think about how I'll build my "fortifications". :D

I do have some fun ideas - Dan Mitre left me some camo netting and real-life ammo boxes (that currently adorn my office) so I may try to incorporate those in the pic.

(If I get word that the storage room is available today, I'll let y'all know.)

We haven't changed the name yet - not sure what it's going to be, honestly - and Vince is going to oversee both Respawn and DICE LA. I know the article that came out wasn't super clear, but it's not like DICE LA is becoming Respawn. Respawn are doing their thing, DICE LA will do their thing. And DICE SE (Stockholm) will continue doing their thing.
