Secure the Boys AT Rifle in a new Weekly Storyline that features Firestorm, Panzerstorm, and Twisted Steel.

This week's Tides of War Chapter 3 Storyline focuses on Firestorm, Panzerstorm, and Twisted Steel maps.

Complete this Week's Storyline and you'll be rewarded with the Boys AT Rifle for Recons.

Let’s look at the tasks. Remember that the exact mission requirements can be found in game in the Tides of War menu.

COMMANDEERED - 10,000 Chapter XP

(Firestorm) As a squad earn 1000 score using civilian vehicles or towable weapons.

LET THE SUNSHINE IN - 10,000 Chapter XP

(Firestorm) As a squad, open a vehicle lockup in Firestorm.

FIREWORKS - 10,000 Chapter XP

(Firestorm) Inflict 300 damage using explosives in Firestorm.

FIREPOWER KILL - 4,500 Chapter XP

Disable the turret of 1 enemy tank

MOBILITY KILL - 4,500 Chapter XP

Disable the engine of 1 enemy tank.

ALL GUNS FORWARD - 10,000 Chapter XP

(Firestorm) As a squad kill 5 enemies using vehicles or stationary weapons in Firestorm.

CATASTROPHIC KILL -10,000 Chapter XP

Destroy 1 enemy tank.

GIMME SOMETHING GOOD - 4,500 Chapter XP

(Firestorm) As a squad call in 1 vehicle reinforcements in Firestorm.

HIGH HORSE - 25,000 Chapter XP

Capture 3 objectives or resupply points while in a vehicle.

MOON SHOT - 10,000 Chapter XP

Destroy an enemy aircraft using an AT cannon, Panzerfaust or PIAT.

BIG MACHINES - 25,000 Chapter XP

As a squad, earn 3000 score using vehicles or stationary weapons.

(OPTIONAL) MISSION KILL - 10,000 Chapter XP

Inflict 5 Part Disables on enemy vehicles using the Boys AT Rifle.

OH MAN. There's one I know I'll be sporting. I can't remember the name, but it's like dark grey with white highlights and a touch of chrome. LOOKS SO GOOD.

Per history, the PIAT replaced the Boys AT as the PIaT was more powerful.

That being said, look for critical hits. (And it destroys soldiers).

With the introduction of AT Rifles, I'd thought about this part. Are you guys at DICE worried about 4 Recons setting up on a hill and shooting everything in sight with the BOYS? Or does the slow rate of fire and low mag size counteract that possibility?

It’s slow rate of fire, bolt action style, and I think it holds 6 shots in the magazine. And to ADS, you have to be prone or deploy the bipod. It’s restrictive, but worth it.

Yes, I work in LA. It’s a gorgeous campus with awesome folks. There’s a great shopping center near the studio that has some awesome restaurants. I do love visiting Stockholm. The studio is amazing, and they have 3 of my favorite food spots near the studio- Berliner Kebab, Shanti Soft Corner (amazing Indian food), and Cusine (beautiful dishes and ambiance).

In 2019, with the proliferation of chat tools like Skype, Discord, Slack, and email (of course), working in different spots doesn’t really impact cooperation. And I get up around 5am (by choice) and start my day very early to ensure I get plenty of time to chat with my Stockholm colleagues. We also have u/PartWelsh who is in the UK, so he’s always present with the Devs in EU hours. And usually work well past my “scheduled” hours because I love my job and chatting with the community.

In the game the task does have the firestorm logo but doesn't precise in the text that it require to do to it in BR.

That f**ken sucks mate - many of us find the mode unplayable because of terrible matchmaking sending us OOR. And now to unlock the gun we're forced to play with effectively unplayable pings to complete a fiddly, gimmicky assignment which would be irritating under ideal conditions?

That's not fair or reasonable, I hope this doesn't happen again - we, loyal players, don't need this shit.

Or you can purchase it for around 1700 CC after the week ends.

You can usually buy the weekly reward weapons for 1700 CC, I believe.

Can I just use AA/AT guns in normal mp modes to compete this? I hate quads in firestorm also firestorm altogether.

Its sad to say DICE you missed the BR moment and trying to make this a thing is somewhat painful to watch.

You can complete the first node in MP = multiplayer. Only those that specifically mention Firestorm require Firestorm.

Towable weapons are the guns that you can pull with vehicles. And you don’t have to do it it Firestorm. You can complete the node via normal MP modes.
