I'd like to finish a game before the server disconnecting. I've defended the game since day one but it still feels like a beta game with the clunky menu system, long load times, server issues, lack of content and consistent/ongoing gameplay issues. That's it. Nothing new. Just wanted to rant. Thanks fam.

My squad and I have been having the same issue. Nobody pressing the Xbox button, but it’s been very spotty to maintain connection to a squad or match. Even in the main menu it took several attempts to get out 4-man squad together without someone joining and then immediately disconnecting. Not just one player, either. Three of our four players had this problem at some point or another.
The problem has continued into actual matches, too. One squadmate disconnected three times in one match, with the error message saying he lost connection to the EA servers. We have never had this problem in 4-5 months of playtime.
Can we expect a fix? The squad has decided not to play until the stability issue is solved.

Has this changed at all with today's patch? I'd be very interested in seeing if there is a connection at all here.
