Hey u/braddock512, I get that people are nasty about this, but the reason we're pissed is it feels like deceitful advertising. Imagine going to a fast food joint and ordering a "20 item" chicken nugget meal, and they give you 2 chicken nuggets and 18 bbq sauce packets. That's what this felt like.

Just because you're all technically right, doesn't make people feel less cheated. People were expecting their "20 items" to be a lot more than a single piece of a camo every week. I guarantee if it had been sold as "20 weapon parts, one per week", nobody would've paid $80 for it.

I absolutely understand. The whole conversation was conveniently left out, as is always the case. I had responded to someone that said “I paid and you gave me nothing!” (He had repeatedly posted that, so I checked his account. He had received his 5 soldier sets, had the Beta on his account, received the airlifts, and the assignments.) I advised the other person that if they had missed anything to check the lists (I provide links) and to contact support. He came back with “you should give us 3500 Boins.” Unfortunately, that is not within my power. Moreover, for many months Dan Mitre and I had explored multiple options to add something to the package to improve the perceived value. That didn’t pan out. (Everything from an Elite to some Boins to some Epic skins. It just didn’t happen.) Then the person to whom I was replying in the above screenshot (not the person I had originally replied to) decided to get a bit aggressive and accusatory. I explained again. He came back with more aggression and I posted what has been screenshot.

I absolutely agree that the main description of Deluxe could’ve been more clear (see also: very detailed) to avoid any frustration - and helped push a second FAQ that focused on exactly what the Airlifts were - in detail.

Out of pure curiosity. Where is it written exactly? Description of deluxe edition or somewhere else?

I really appreciate the response. Thank you.

Sorry if my comment was condescending... I realize you're well aware of how people feel and it was kinda dumb to assume you weren't lol

No worries, ML.

I just wish to make an observation (I fully take onboard your other comment, Jeff). The first link you shared was dated 23 May 2018 and the second link you have shared, on what was included in the air drops was posted on the 18 Dec 2018, a full month and 9 days after the game was launched.

Between those dates, with the exception of the Firestorm ranger set being added to preorders and some concept art for that, no one who bought Deluxe knew exactly what we were getting (happy to be proven wrong). The fact that air drop info came a month after launch is where the issue lies. The consumer hasn't made an informed choice due to poor info, more lack of it. That info really should have been out before the launch so consumers could decide whether Deluxe was worth the extra cost, before it was too late, and either cancel their pre-order or not.

I 100% agree that the in-depth details of the Airlifts should've been published during the pre-order window. 100%.
