Oh wow, I have a task to support keeping velocity when exiting vehicles, but this is pushing it a bit...
Speaking of, I've noticed sometimes when you exit planes as passenger you don't keep velocity and drop straight down, which usually means way out-of-bounds since you jump out early expecting the inertia to bring you in the battlefield...
I have very little experience with the various models so I can't say if there is a clear pattern; last time I had it happen was from the bottom-rear gunner seat on whichever plane has it.
Yeah it's every but one plane, there is one (I believe the Junkers) that pushes you along for a brief time so you keep some momentum. I'll hopefully soon have some time to improve this behavior.
