I'm not sure what everyone else's experience is, but i rarely see fortifications get used. There are common areas where people use fortifications, but there are far more areas where fortifications rarely get built.

So here's my question: how do we fix this, and how do we make fortifications get built more? Here's my thoughts on the subject: Personally I believe simply speeding up fortification building for all classes is the the best solution. For example: there's a massive trench you can build at the church on Panzerstorm. With the current building speed, you're going to be spending around 5 minutes (slightly less with the Support class of course) building the whole thing. That means you're practically spending 1/6 of a 30 minute match building one single trench, that's insane. It's around the same for more most other large and complicated fortifications too. Not only does it take a long time, but you get almost no reward for your efforts too. Honestly, I'm fine with the lack of reward, the issue is how incredibly long fortifications take to build currently. I personally believe no large fortification system (like the trenches, or just objectives in general) should take over 2 minutes to build with any class.

Implementing a faster build time would make fortifications much more common, and I honestly think the game would improve because of it.

Hello!

There's quite a bit of interesting feedback here! I do agree with that we could imrpove them when it comes to both how survivable they are (especially in the context of vehicles) and the experience of building them could also be better, so thanks for the feedback!

Just to allow us to try to understand you a bit better, I'd like to ask some questions. Would you rather have the sandbag fortifications that are in the game right now have more health but still be destoryed by a tank driving over them? Like, would you rather see us buffing the health but keeping the interactions the same, or adding something to them that blocks tanks from just being able to run through them?

Do you have any preferences when it comes to placement? Do you have any examples of Conquest flags (or other game modes for that matter) where you think they were placed especially well (or especially poorly)?
