I hope I can give some feedback on what might bother him, and maybe some of the playerbase as a whole (as well as me). But firstly, thank you for communicating with us, even through all the fire you went through. After typing a little bit, I noticed it's quite a lot, and I might have more to say. But for now, I hope that somewhat helps. And it is in no way a form to rant, I really hope it works as feedback (not so you read one sentence and think yeah this type of bs again).
I think most people are annoyed by the fact that a lot of outfits, especially the good ones, can only by purchased with real money in a full priced game. The Pit Crew issue makes this worse, unfortunately. People want to unlock them with CC, as some have accumulated quite a fortune already. Also, some don't want to buy whole sets, but rather parts, like a cool hat. I understand this greatly reduces sales, so maybe make sets cheaper if items have been bought already? Also what I've seen, for 20€ you get barely enough for 3 epic outfits, just missing 50 more BOINS to buy another. Although a marketing strategy, nonetheless frustrating for the consumer (at this point I must say that 7,50€ for character skins are one of the best prices I've seen in many games). Weapon skins though are mainly horrible (many players don't want worn out variants, but fresh ones) and overpriced (though this gets fairer because you see the weapon, but not the outfit ... I hope that makes sense). Also the repeating Fortnite-Shop-Clone is something Battlefield really doesn't need. The urgency to buy something just makes this skin debacle more frustrating. Another thing is that some skins don't fit all bodies, which can sometimes look off on some characters/humans.
Another thing that bothers players is the lack of maps (we all know that already, I know). Some even wished to bring back BF1 maps (probably desperation -> "better than nothing" though I think this will bring a lot of backlash) or maps from older Battlefields. Second option for one would make veterans happy, and also (hopefully) greatly reduce the thinking progress for the designers. I think I've also seen people wanting more close quarter focused maps, and not just game modes that cut out small parts of the big maps. Playing this game becomes quite repetitive, something I noticed myself. I used to play older Battlefields without a stop, but I can't bring myself over playing more than 1-2 hours BF5. I don't know if it's the lack of maps, because bugs or so rarely happen to me. I think there is not that much else to do after leveling up all classes to 20 (the repeated rewards also are quite a let down, like multiple guns, though I understand the thinking). I should have made another point for this one, but let me quickly finish here. "Endgame" content lacks. I love finishing all kinds of quests, but the ones we have now don't offer any real value (just a few coins, which you can't buy a lot with). A counter for weapon kills ingame would be something people might like (to show off what they achieved, as that's something that really lacks. The "flexing" part, as skins don't really matter in the current state ... though that's something I personally think).
The voices in Grand Operations are kinda too optimistic/happy, though first might be something to motivate soldiers. I think there was a problem with the germans using the wrong plane or vice-versa. The white text on black background sometimes is really annoying, especially after seeing it so often. And I THINK that when you tab out, it takes so much longer for the white text to finish.
Something I love but have never really seen is when developers randomly add new voice lines. It makes the game feel more alive (the Elite voices for example). I think I recently heard new lines for normal characters, but I didn't play in months. Made me quite happy, but I might be mistaken. Also I'm not sure if other humans have other voices/voice lines, as I only play 1 for each side xD.
Tides of Wars / Life Service feels lacking at this point. I didn't personally compare if it offered more/same content as older Battlefiels, but it feels a little bit weird. I like the idea, but it doesn't really make me wanna play. Quite the opposite, some players say they feel like chores (though I understand the idea behind that is .. to do something.. so yeah). I think the main problem once again is the lack of maps. The quest lines are really well done, especially when the player is not forced to play a certain mode (though I think it's the case on some entry missions). Some rewards (face paints, CC) is something that makes me really wanna skip a week. Not because they are horrible, but kinda useless (my PC can't handle lowest graphics, so some face paints are invisible. Especially on enemies they can't really be seen, or with all the gas masks that apparently were never used in WW2) (there is not much to buy with CC that feels great). Also, it feels bad to wait even longer for new weapons, especially the cooler new ones like that shake up things (these two medic weapons I love them, also the sniper pistol gun and the upcoming one looks really cool). Apparently, if not fixed, the latest medic weapon has an upgrade that nullifies the grenade launcher.
Firestorm is something I don't really play myself. Most players are probably bothered by the fact duos was removed, but I think it's a little bit of exaggeration. Though I really wouldn't just remove it. There are way too many modes in general that need love, so adding another "great/big" one probably wasn't a good plan, especially given the apparent lower player count.
