Any update on the 5v5 stuff?

I did get a small update about the content that was going to be in 5v5 being repurposed for Vanilla (and some of the items that were in the Chapter 4 trailer - that did feature some of the 5v5 content).
The short answer - yes they are coming.
The detailed answer -
Some of the weapons/gadgets seen in the trailer were designed for the 5v5 or campaign/co-op modes specifically, so they didn't have the Specializations, Special Assignments, Spec Trees, correct skins, etc. that would be required for BFV vanilla.
To bring them to the main game, the team has to implement all of those features for each of the weapons and etc, so they are working on that now.
The Breda and the Panzerbusche will be coming with update 4.4.
Currently, the Madsen is scheduled for 4.6.
The Chauchat, Ithaca 37, K31, Welrod, bazooka, etc. will be coming in future chapters.

Soldier cosmetics? They're working on those as well. I don't have a date or details on that specifically.. at this time.
I’m so glad you thought of me. I said I would not be back before the Chauchat is dropped but the Madsen is another fav of mine so I might check that out. Thanks man! We appreciate you letting us know.

I don’t see why it couldn’t be given to us. But yeah January would be terrible. Luckily I’m not playing BFV every day so I’m not tortured by the only weapon I want to use but can’t.
Per the communique from the Dev team (this is a direct quote):
Please keep in mind that these weapons aren't 'already done'. They were done for 5v5 (or SP), which had a very different progression system than base game MP.

There is some news about update 4.4?
They're still testing the update and working towards a final build they can send for Certification. As soon as I have more info, I'll share it. Looking like early next week for release - pending cert. They encountered some critical bugs and with our focus on fixing the game (and not releasing any more bugs), we can't push out the update with those issues still present.
Duuuude another week? Cmon man...
I know you want the new content and all the fixes coming, but honestly, we can't release another broken update. As a gamer, I'd rather us hold until there's zero bugs in the update than to risk dropping an update like 4.0 again. Wouldn't you?
My apologies for the vitriol, but at times were goodwil is at an all-time low, I could've lived with "We'll try to deliver it outside of the context of ToW once they are ready for to drop", which sounds like the appropriate thing to do for something you were preparing to give us around this time. Some could've come at christmas. Some could've joined what I hope to be the initial C5 content drop. Some could've just been given randomly. But honestly, the words "Lol we'll just add it to the dripfeed" are more infuriating and insulting than "we've decided to scrap it as it was never made for MP".
This is lowly opportunism and you lot know it. And yes, as long as that "at least 7" remains on the roadmap i'll take the least generous reading of that because that is what i've been taught to do.
Also, keep in mind that presuming NO NEW CONTENT MADE, which is unlikely, you guys currently have enough weapons and gadgets stashed up or reference to least 4 entire f**king chapters taking Chapter 3 as the median for content releases. This is of course omitting the 5 vehicles. Its not an exaggeration to read your statement as "eh, we'll maybe give you what the trailer shows this time next year"
You're interpreting what you want from the statement I made, which was literally what was shared from the Devs.
And your assumption that the weapons 'are already ready' is based on a trailer and datamining - which was in no way final and not what the actual developers working on the game have shared with me (and thus I shared with the community). Things will be final and will be released when they're ready. (None of us want more broken releases for this game.)
And you getting abusive and toxic in your replies doesn't make it go faster or slower. I'm sorry you felt it appropriate, but I don't accept the half-apology, especially when you misquote or straight up put words in my mouth that I never said (I don't need someone to translate what I write, but thanks!)

Wait so does that mean that the ToW reward live this thursday will be delayed? Or is the weapon in the game already just not usable?
I thought that the update was gonna add the new guns but if its delayed until next week that means we wont be able to get this weeks gun?
Unfortunately, since the update isn't this week, we've had to move the ToW reward to next week.
What about the m2 carbine?

The M2 Carbine is part of "etc."
So why wasn’t this rational used for the 9 months prior? Why even set time tables for releases when they haven’t been met in this games entire life cycle?

It was, but we hit a mountain of issues with 4.0 that forced the dev team to re-analyze a lot of things.
So does that mean chapter 4 is being extended as well?
No, Chapter 4 won't be extended, but we have something for the space between 4 and 5. (I can't share details at this time.)
