[2020] Old Master challenge update?

I was on 4650 kills, finished a match with about 50 and quit out to the menu. I went in to the Career tab and saw that the challenge said 5000/5000. I finished a match and the milestone unlocked and I got the skin. It may be that the lost kills from before the patch have been added.
