I just saw that it's an event between May 1st and May 6th. My PS Plus runs out this week and I won't be able to afford to renew it for a bit. Will it be purchasable down the line?

External link →As long as you load up the game after the appearance has been 'unlocked', you should be able to still get it.
The game requires you to connect to our servers, not the online matchmaking that PS+ will require.
Just make sure you connect before the cut-off date for the challenge.
