I'm afraid of buying skins, I feel that the millisecond I buy them, then Ben will drop the newest, hottest, exciting CT imaginable and there will be new skins for Vader or Maul and ill have zilch credits. Any advice? I don't want to buy the celebration upgrade because then I honestly would have no reason to play the game other than with friends.

If there's something of interest now, buy that rather than waiting in the hope of something of better interest, tomorrow. You will always be able to attain credits and always be able to attain appearances.
