Hopefully this environmental clutter is confirmed or denied sooner than later.
As already stated by many in the thread, this is (and as far as I am aware) trailer flair. These trailers are almost always receiving a little bit of flair in some places to compliment the onscreen choreography. Gives it a nice touch :).
