Earlier today I decided to choose the "Quick Match" button on the main-menu to get into a game, instead of just specifically choosing a mode like I normally do. For those who don't know, those function throws you into games that need players - it might be a game of co-op, or Supremacy, or Starfighter Assault, you name it.

I went from playing Ewok Hunt to Galactic Assault on Geonosis, to D'qar Starfighter Assault and then Yavin Supremacy, then a match of Blast, Endor Galactic Assault, Kamino Supremacy, and then finally Kamino Starfighter Assault over a course of 3-4 hours.

All of this was done without ever having to go back to the main menu to choose a mode; I played as infantry units, Heroes and vehicles all in one sitting. It's a function that I'm surprised I haven't used more often, since it allows you to always have a variety of gamemodes to play through (as opposed to sticking in one mode for a few hours.) Have you had this sort of luck/variety with this feature?

Yeah we improved the quick match functionality this last patch and now it puts you more than just coop and keeps on rotating modes between matches. Glad you like it!

Any chance you’ll do something similar with the “play any” button in supremacy and Co-op to make them switch eras between matches?

Yup, its already there, for both Supremacy and Coop since the last patch. Selecting "Play Any" at the bottom of either screen will cycle between all available Supremacy and Coop maps and modes respectively.

I don’t think it’s working, I just tried it on supremacy and the era never changes, so for example if the first match I get sent to is geonosis, every map after that will be age of the republic until I quit back to the menu. If I start on Hoth, every map after that is age of rebellion. I was hoping the eras would change after each round.

Which platform are you on? and did you try during peak or off-peak hours? Matchmaking also tries to put you at the beginning of a match with the maximum number of players. Unfortunately, what that means at the end of a supremacy game is that if 30+ people are looking for a new game, you will more often than not find the same game as them which is why it seems to stick to the same map rotation I'm afraid.
