A fair few things wrong with this and we need to check ourselves a little.
- It's often detrimental to attach oneself to rumours, there are lots of them out there for so many different things, if you believed them all, you'd probably have some difficulties from the sheer amount of disappointment you'd receive when 99% of them aren't true.
- Plastering some guys identity on a subreddit with no absolute fact or proof, just the sakes of a few words is not okay at all. Please pay attention to what you're doing rather than going for upvotes or attention or even just jokes.
- If we had anything to announce in regards to a new Community Manager (we do not), that information would come from EA Star Wars rather than any individual first. It is also important to understand that Ben wasn't just a Community Manager, he was a Lead and also a core part of DICE Stockholm too in fielding things around the team and to the community.
- Seeing people place a lot of trust in newly-created Reddit accounts, stating things that are nowhere near truth is very disappointing, we should be past this :)
TLDR; Let's hold a bit of maturity towards what we're doing, if there was an announcement to make you would see it from EA Star Wars or introduced by someone already within the team to confirm authenticity, followed up by a message from that individual themselves. Nothing more or less.
