XBOX ONE S

Until about April of 2019, I was playing Blackout just fine. No lag, great connection, and overall great times.

But, completely randomly, I began disconnecting from every single Blackout match within 5-10 minutes of starting.

I don’t understand why this is the case. I’ve never had any network problems with any video games except Blackout. Multiplayer works just fine, same with other Battle Royals games.

I’ll be playing smoothly for a few minutes then I’ll get connection interrupted for anywhere from 5-20 minutes. I’ll be able to move around and shoot but every enemy is left where they were when I get the warning.

However, and what makes this especially odd, is that if someone is spectating me (a duo or squad teammate) they will see enemies on my screen in real time so they can tell me where to look and shoot despite me being frozen in time.

Checking the network settings in game it almost looks like a DDOS attack, the game seems to just send a ton of packets to my router and completely break my game, but I don’t think it’s a problem with my connection.

While this occurs I can do things on my phone just fine and my brothers Xbox will keep working normally. It is a blackout specific issue.

I haven’t played a full Blackout game in months, despite trying once every few days.

Does anyone have any insight or possible solution. I genuinely enjoyed Blackout and would really love to play it again.
