Where do you like to drop? I'm a solo player and I like to drop hot, but not so hot I land nut to butt with the next person out of the chopper.
In no particular order, my favorites:
Cargo Docks
Southwest corner, near the helipad. Often a chest either in the corner or in the tiny shack under the rails, and there's most usually at least one weapon and one lethal to be found right after the drop.
Construction Site
Front of the building, on the second floor balcony. I'll fly around the building if I have to. Everyone and their dog goes for the top, with the occasional parking structure party. This usually gives me plenty of time and cover to gear up before someone sees me.
Offices near Dam
Almost always a chest of some kind in one of them. This is a bit different as I might end up dropping with several others, but there's enough cover to mitigate that.
Turbine
Roof of the west large hangar. Drop on the rails for easy access to a chest and usually a weapon.
Factory
East column, top tier. Four tiers of gear, plus if someone lands there with me and finds a gun before I do it's an easy hop to hide.
