They’re so laughably bad compared to Assault Rifles.

  • A lot of Assault Rifles statistically kill a fair amount of SMGs, in a range where SMGs should dominate. Rampart, KN57, VAPR, Maddox, Auger, even the LMGs like the VKM and Hades.

  • For Body Armour, it takes 2 shots to break the Armour with SMGs, while ARs/LMGs take 1 shot to break the armour.

Example: MX9 that has a 5 shot range, goes up to 7 shots to kill at close range against an Armour user. How is that possibly fair, when their Time To Kill isn’t even that strong?

The Saug, and maybe Spitfire are probably the best SMGs, but again, what’s the point of using those guns when the ARs do a better, consistent job at mostly every range?

How did we went from BO3, a game that had amazing SMGs and weapon balancing, to a game where the only guns that are consistently great are the ARs and LMGs? I blame the higher TTK, and Body Armour.

Edit; Also blows my mind how the Mog received that type of buff, to the point it makes SMGs pointless to use. Not to mention, the ARs keep getting buffed...mind blown
