In MW2, the further away you were from a concussion/flash the lesser the effect was. THIS WAS TEN YEARS AGO.

Why are they not implementing something similar? The hit radius is massive and it has the same effect whether the grenade goes off next to your forehead or 10 feet behind you.

Please allow a concussed player to fight back. You are absolutely meant to be disadvantaged when hit by an item like this, but there **needs** to be outplay potential so skillful players can still defend themselves.

Trophies are great but needing them to be preemptive is unreliable. Surprising a team with a concussion initiation shouldn't always result in a guaranteed win.

Reinforced is also an insufficient counter because it is inherently less lootable given that activated perks aren't dropped on death. A player shouldn't be expected to have reinforced activated for every single fight in a Blackout match, yet concussions continue to feel omnipresent despite the inventory nerfs. I'm also still confused as to why ya'll decided that Reinforced/Tac-Mask needed to be a half-measure this year instead of the full immunity from year's prior.

This game is seriously so good, but the hand-in-front-of-face-can't-fight-back decision is utterly mind boggling.

Like before, I am answering the question without judgement for or against.

I do so without any lense of multiplayer or Blackout when answering. It's a design philosophy conversation, which I always enjoy personally when both sides are treating each other with respect.

Hard-counters invalid both pieces of gameplay content. If you can fully counter something, you stop taking the thing that can be fully countered and then you stop taking the counter.

That gameplay type and style then ends up getting invalided entirely over time and removes depth from the game. I (personally) don't like that because I (personally) believe the game is much richer with more than just straight gunplay.

... as to your note(s) above about "not being able to fight back" please understand that I totally get it. We just haven't decided what we are going to do about that yet.
