I see some confusion in the comments section:

SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT FOR 2X BATTLE PASS XP

Sign up for two-factor authentication to improve your account security and get two hours of 2X Battle Pass XP! We strongly recommend adding this extra layer of account protection, which requires a third-party authentication application when logging into your Activision account. Sign up at the CallofDuty.com 2FA page here.

Starting today, anyone who enables two-factor authentication will receive two 1-hour 2X Battle Pass XP Tokens as a reward. If you’ve already enabled the feature before today, your tokens will begin rolling out tomorrow, May 28th. Enjoy!

What happens to the tokens if I already have 2FA on and I'm already tier 100 in the BP?

They roll over to the next Season Pass.

Thanks for the fast reply brotha

Just in case, some people are using the bat in the sniper only mode you might want to send someone to check it out

NP, and let me share the bat note with the team.

Update: This is currently intended. Happy to see your feedback on it and share that with the team too.

I don't have a smart phone so that would just f**k me over.

Are you completely without 2FA then as a result?

Me too and can't find a way to get 2fa without a smart phone.

I'll respond to you and tag the others. /u/TopNep72 + /u/Zypher31.

Assumption: You have a basic/landline phone and access to a personal computer?

If so, then you can use Authy as a solution since it has a Desktop Application. The tokens will be there too when/if you get an Android or iOS device that supports Authy.

Bitwarden is also a solution as Bitwarden is both a password and token manager.

Edit: Looking at Bitwarden again, I'm able to use a TOTP via the browser extension. May be possible to insert the secret key into the password profile when editing. This is a much more involved solution.

Check them out.

Thank you very much for recommending Authy as a solution!

NP! Stay safe out there. :)
