[2021] My controller automatically (hand wasn’t touching the Right snaking stick) moves my crosshair upwards. What’s going on here? This happens multiple times a game. Sometimes it’s more subtle but this is terrible and really hurts my gameplay. Any ideas?

Looks like you're having some analog drift which can be mitigated with our Min/Max Input Thresholds. You can find those settings under the advanced portion of our Controller Settings menu.

My recommendation to change your thresholds is to load up a Multiplayer Custom Match and adjust your minimum input thresholds until you stop noticing the drift.

Most people you ask about their input settings are going to note them as default. Your drifting issue is most likely a personal hardware issue. This could be a product of normal wear and tear, abnormal wear and tear, dust and debris, or a product defect. Something's causing the controller to register input when you're not touching it.

If you lower the minimum input thresholds you'll likely see the issue escalate, so raise it until you no longer see or experience the issue.
