[2021] BOCW is a lot like MW2 in some regards

If I boot up MW2 right now, it takes a good while to find a lobby, and when I do,I'll usually find the same few people I was playing against yesterday and the day before that.

When I boot up BOCW right now, it takes a good while to find a lobby. Usually 5 minutes and an "Exaanding 140ms range" message.

Here I also find a lot of the same people I played against yesterday and the day before that.

Even if I had disabled crossplay (which I haven't) it should not take 5 minutes and 140ms ping to find a match in the newest COD. Not by a longshot.

Even more interesting. If I boot up BO3, yes three, I'm put in a lobby within 10-15 seconds.
No exaggeration, a 6 year old COD finds me a match about 10x faster than the newest title, and I don't see the same usernames pop-up evey day.

If I create a new account BOCW finds me a match within 15 seconds, and it's all new names. every match.

Isn't that strange?
Must be a bug so,ewhere in the system

As I type this I'm sitting in a lobby with the message 'Need 2 more players' at the top. It's been 3 minutes like this.

Three hours ago it was literally 7 AM in my timezone and I was still asleep. I'm neither omnipresent nor omniscient and I'm working through my backlog of reports which started filtering in while I was asleep.

What game modes are you searching for which presents this issue? When did it start? Are you utilizing a VPN or router software to geofence your matches? I see that you say recently, but then update to constant, knowing when it started will help.

Furthermore, when you can't reach me, please reach out to our Player Support too. There's a reality that I can't respond to everything, unfortunately.

Any combination of game modes. Today TDM and then TDM + KC.

In December. It got so bad I dropped BOCW completely until 2 days ago.

No and no.

Tried your support back in december, when it got so bad I was put on servers in the US, specifically New Jersey and Wichita.

I had to use Cain & Abel to get this info.

If I create a new account I find matches within 20 seconds. Same connection, same console.
