[2020] How does buying BOCW in-game work?

So I bought BOCW through the Xbox store but then I decided to refund it and buy it through WZ to get the 10 tier skip, however it still gives me the preorder option for BOCW on the Xbox store even though it otherwise acts like I own the game

This made me curious as to how buying stuff in MW/WZ works, any help?
