I just preordered the cross gen version so say if I put a months work of progress into the game then I get ps5 and the games on there, do I keep all of the stuff I did?

External link →We know progress will move forward, but will you be able to maintain progression across the systems, at the same time? In other words, if I have a XB1 and start playing, then get an XBSX and start playing, I know my progress copies over. Now, if I keep my XB1 around and sometimes play on that and sometimes play on the XBSX (imagine they are in two different rooms), will my progress keep updating?
We are supporting cross-gen crossplay and cross-saves.
