[2021] Why isn't e tool multiplayer progress tracking?

I have gotten 3+ kills without dying multiple times, and without leaving the match. Is there any fix to this? It's pretty annoying considering it's one of the more difficult challenges. Any possibility it is tracking and isn't displaying? I have seen that other people have this glitch.
