[2021] Game Crashing after game update? ( 0xC0000005 (0x0) N )

I have had 0 issues with the game and been having loads of fun... up until the update on PC yesterday. I updated the game and loaded it up and boom instant crash with the error code as seen in the title. I have tried everything I can see online: updating drivers, clearing registries, clearing caches, uninstalling and reinstalling the entire game! Literally can't figure out why this happens.

I know this is a common issue but if anyone knows why this is happening all of a sudden I'd be incredibly grateful.
