Keep in mind they don't get paid for fixes, just for new content so fixes have to be worked in between other tasks. And they are all working from home during covid

Wait, is this a 0% chance for every upgrade for rare and epics, or just for 0-1 because I don’t think you can fail 0-1. Also, is this a permanent change. Sorry it’s late for me and I still am new to the game.

Before the fall update, upgrading from 0 to +1 was guaranteed never to break. When the update came, that got changed because you no longer lose fortification levels when enhancement fails. A lot of people complained, so they are changing it back to the way it used to be, but only for rare and epic. Legendary and Mythic gear could still break at 0 to +1

No change in this game is ever really permanent, especially with the enhancement system. Devs are still looking for the perfect balance so they'll keep tinkering with it

I don’t get the devs sometimes, really. They couldn’t even fix the event bugs since the last time the even started more than a month ago. Still the same UI bugs as before. Is it so hard to put some work into bug fixing or is the team really so small that they can’t afford to deal with anything which is broken in this game?

This is wrong, In the gaming industry developers have full time contracts and bug fixes and weekly/monthly updates to patch in are all part of said contracts.

Round 8 might not fix some bugs as fast because they need to first of all determine what caused it and make sure the fix doesn't break something else.

I've been a game designer and coder for over 10 years working with multiple publishers in that time. Our studios got money for meeting milestones only. Fixes were expected to be done as catch-up for the milestones that had already been paid for. It's a constant rush to reach the next milestones so devs can be given paychecks, while squeezing bug fixes into spare moments to keep the game alive so the milestone after next is even a thing.

I am only speaking on Korean to Western published games, as those are the ones I have worked for in the past, developers have a product already so the fixes are expected of them and no extra money is given for them as they are part of the weekly/bi weekly patches for such serviced games.

I fully expect it to be the same case with Neowiz and Bandai deal as its the norm for Korean developers to keep the rights and direction of a game under control, after all that is why they are self publishing it on PC and didn't give Bandai the chance to even discuss beyond console publishing rights.

That's what I was trying to say, I'm sorry if that was unclear.
