Hi Everyone,
It's been a long time wish of mine to be able to hand this community back over to itself. Today, we are beginning that process. u/TheMinion256 has agreed to start transitioning the sub over to his control and ownership, and that process is now underway.
What does this mean to you?
1) An actual moderator (or mod team?).
We've been very lax here on moderating as we work on Bless Unleashed and don't want to break rediquette where we can. To avoid the look of this, we really only moderate the most severe posts, and our community here has suffered somewhat due to that. Now, Minion is free to actually mod the sub.
2) It's still official.
We're not going anywhere. This is still the official sub for Bless Unleashed. We'll continue to maintain a presence, and maybe even increase our presence as well. Some of our GM team may fade out of the Reddit, but myself and several other key players will stay on for some time to help ease Minion's transition into leaadership here. Eventually, when he's ready, all BNEA staff will step down as mods here. I'm hoping Minion lets us keep our flair though. :-)
3) Why u/TheMinion256?
In his time here he's been posting regularly, is always fair, but positive in both his praise and criticism, and most importantly, he's been a positive influence in this community for some time. I've never seen him talk down to anyone, or be disrespectful to anyone on the sub. That makes him pretty good mod material in my book.
4) What's the timeline?
I really don't have a timeline in mind for this. As soon as Minion tells me he's ready to tackle all of this on his own, I'll ask him to remove my mod status.
