Hey everyone. As 0.7 and 1.0 draw nearer, we would like to be more interactive and keep you more updated on everything Blightbound! Whether that’s what we’re doing and thinking, or any plans/ideas we might have, or how we’ve processed the incredibly helpful feedback you have given us on the Steam forums, Steam reviews, Discord, Twitch, or anywhere else!
0.7: Final Charge The content for 0.7 has been finalised and the next couple of weeks will consist of testing and getting feedback from our external QA colleagues. We’ve pencilled down a release window at the end of February. If nothing goes wrong (fingers crossed!) then Update 0.7: Final Charge will release at the end of this month!
After 0.7 Update 0.7 will be the final content update before the full release. We’re going to use the time between 0.7 and 1.0 to improve the game based on your feedback and improve and optimise Blightbound to get it ready for its full release.
We currently have a few ideas of things we would like to do between 0.7 and 1.0, and we’re very excited about these ideas internally, but they are not yet concrete, so we’ll hold off on hinting and announcing them just yet. But keep an eye on this space!
1.0 Full Release We would like to leave Early Access and fully release Blightbound before the end of Quarter 2 2021. We don’t have a specific release date yet, but we wish to hit that release window. We are and will be working very hard to get Blightbound ready for its 1.0 release. We are looking forward to working on all the feedback you guys will give us!
Beyond We have content planned for beyond 1.0 but we are not yet sure on how, or how often, that content will reach you.
