@AlezCorreas @KaerlosBS @Brawl_esports I've heard claims which haven't been substantiated (player claims to be 17 on social media), but I understand the admin team is on it, which is why the monthly final teams haven't been announced. 🤷♂️
It seriously blows my mind how quick a lot of players are to eat up anything on social media as "true", substantiated and fact checked - or not.
It's the admins job to figure out what is or isn't the case and the rules are clearly defined in how to react in each case. Patience.
To be honest, it's seriously worrying me - if folks lack the same critical thinking/fact checking on everything else in life, humanity is pretty much doomed because we'll be governed by a bunch of power hungry monkeys who are good with social media.
@AlezCorreas @KaerlosBS @Brawl_esports Dood, a Discord chat ≠ facts. Societies fortunately have a fact based system in place - it's called a photo ID. If he's under 16 the rules will be applied and that's it.🤦♂️
@Trav_Talks @yikeseroni1 @Ark_BrawlStars Haha, the moments I wish the internet wasn't anonymous. Good rule of thumb: don't post anything you wouldn't say in person to someone else.
@cmc_r3vilo One of the Team Activium players (the team went 7/1 in the EMEA qualifier) was reported as <16 years old, while he claims himself to be 17. The team potentially faces disqualification which would mean that another team from the tie-breaker matches would take the spot.
@Glazoxbs @Cindy_bs_ @YdeGaming Erm, no. Fair in the "official" sense is to follow what the rule book has to say about it, and when not possible the spirit of the rulebook - fair is not making up stuff on the fly which is what you suggest, just because it's your preferred narrative.
@AugeBrawlstars @YdeGaming Situations like someone throwing a match are significantly more blurry than these cases, though.
I remember the ESL case recently where the admins decided to dq a team for choosing certain Brawlers, etc. 😉
PS: I have no clue what's going on with the BK ROG vs. Boss situation, but the comments by people in the thread are pretty freaking disgusting, given that it isn't even clear what happened. Maybe esports was a mistake. 😵💫
@bobbyBS_ To give you a different perspectiv: a company fires an employee in line with the contract/employment laws. They have no obligation to tell us jack sh*t.
Besides, it might be straight up illegal to disclose details and personal information about a dismissal.

@vader9k You overestimate the impact on our business. Esports is mainly a give back program for us today. The majority of our playebase doesn't care what the 0.01% do. You can see that based on the complete absence of esports program for most of our bigger content creators.
@barush_bs They are produced under license by one of our partners. 😉
You can find them in many countries now. In Finland they just became available in K markets. 🥳
