@YangCLiu There's a bunch of good reasons why this might make sense for them. I'd expect most of their players primarily playing to compete and most of them only utilize a small set of champions (etc.). If they were able to validate the overlap between Riot accounts and XBGP accounts...

@YangCLiu ... they could minimize cannibalization, while getting both some direct income from MS and an increase in player base + potential for upselling with cosmetics. Must be their main business anyhow, at least for Valorant & Co.

@YangCLiu Not sure if it's diminishing the effort. People still need to pay a subscription. I'd be more curious to see what happens to your content when you cancel that one. 😅
