@AlvinGamin1 @Dani_Supercell No. We'd like to take Star Points into a different direction. More about that at some point next year. Re other points: the new tuning slows down early progression a bit, a common feedback for new players in plqytestint was that content unlocked too fast and it was overwhelming.

PS: The screenshot shows battle starts. Every pixel shows a player starting a battle in the region, dots stick around for ~30 seconds. If more players in the same location start a battle the dot gets brighter. As you can see, NA slowly awakens this beautiful Thursday morning. 😉

@Macaroni_GG That's a good point. The main reason is: lack of infrastructure. Even if we wanted to break out the region, there's no logical server location to send players to. The closest region is Miami, USA.

@GGetulio @BrawlStars Players start/stop playing games. The question is if the retention and new/returning players make up for people leaving. When that is the case, games grow. We're growing and people stick around, measured by retention numbers. Ofc some people only come for freebies. That's ok.

Infinite storage of progression cannot be sustained without making harsher changes to our ecomomy, which we'd like to avoid (example: BP for USD only). So let's see how this goes! 🙌

@IvanVegaG_12 @BrawlStars "Saving a buck" isn't the reason. Low latency games with a global footprint spent millions on infrastructure every month. It's the lack of infrastructure which is the issue. AWS & Co announced locations in Mexico, but nothing has been realized as of today. One can hope though!

@zenklar @BrawlStars It's actually quite hard to get through all the noise these days. We were always lucky in this aspect since our players would always give the game another try and check out new features. The Omega Box event made some noise and the massive change of meta made people curious. 🙌
