In the most recent brawl talk, it was said that a report feature will be added for power league and will later be introduced into standard matches. Although this feature has good intentions, I think it will fail because:

1• Because of the large amount of active brawl stars players, Moderators will be dealing with hundreds or thousands of reports every single day. This also means that the moderators will have to review every single report in detail before making any decisions.

2• A lot of the reports will be sent for minor and immatute reasons such as someone reporting their own teammates simply because they lost a match or even reporting the opponents because they showed a negative pin during a match or because they got jealous that the opponents won.

There are probably more reasons than I stated but these reasons are the biggest reasons why I think the report feature will not be kept for long. What do you all think about this?

We have to think of averages in this situation… of course there’ll be thousands of fake/angry reports, but that should be a constant number However, if someone is really throwing the match or “misbehaving” frequently, that will cause an outlier which will make this player be flagged as a possible legit case, and those will be the ones to be checked We do need this first round of collecting data because we need to know where the line between a normal player and an actual offender is This is of course just the core idea of the feature, the development will be guided by the data we collect in this first version :) And of course, the plan is to automate the whole process as much as we can

What if a trash random has a kill/death ratio of 0:5 cuz they were legitimately bad at the game and they get a temporary ban?

The idea is that once we outline the most reported ones, then we would be checking replays, so there’ll still be a layer of manual check just to ensure we are not banning someone for lack of skills 😅
