Are you perhaps using any mods? I see you have a few different issues, which makes me wonder if you have a mod acting up causing all of that.

Can you upload your output log (player.log on Mac and Linux) somewhere and drop a link here? Then we might be able to sort out what's happening, at least if it's mod related.

This guide explains where to find the log and suggests some places you can upload the file to.

I see some old mods in there:

- Fine Road Anarchy. It's broken and conflicts with the working Fine Road Anarchy 2. Unsubcribe from FRA and keep version 2.
- More Beautification. Partially broken. Unsubscribe it and use Find It instead.
- Network Skins. Not broken afaik but I recommend switching to Network Skins 2 instead. Remember to remove the old one.

As far as I'm aware there are currently some issues with Ploppable RICO and certain other mods, so disabling that might be worth a try. Ofc that might mess with your city depending on how many buildings use the mod to function.

I've also seen some problems with Building Anarchy pop up, so I would recommend trying to disable that as well. Both of those mods could affect things like buildings' ability to detect that they have power and water.

It is still relevant to find out if they are related to the issues you are having, so I still suggest you try disabling them to see if things work or not.

Ploppable RICO is actively maintained, so if there is an issue with it, it's likely just a matter of time before it would be fixed (depending ofc on the creator's amount of free time and how complicated it is to fix).

It might also be a conflict with another mod. A lot of mods use Harmony, and some mods are switching to a newer version of Harmony, which is expected to cause some issues. That means as mods slowly switch, we might see new incompatibilities or strange issues. Narrowing down which mods are affected and not playing nice is how we can help the modders know what needs fixing. :)

If i disable Ploppable RICO i will loose really a lot of buildings. And since i have no proof i cant help the modder adequate. And its to many combinations to find the difference. I only installed mods that are used by many players and that are recommended.
What did hramony exactly?

You aren't going to save. It is simply a test. No matter what the result is, you should just shut down the game without saving, leaving your city intact. But it's needed to figure out what the problem is and where it comes from, so we can get your city back working like it should. It might also turn out to not be those mods at all, but we can't know until we test it. :)

I can't explain exactly what Harmony is, because I don't know enough about modding to understand all the details myself. But Harmony is a method modders use to create mods, so they work together. We started with Harmony 1.X and have since gotten Harmony 2.X - those two versions do not work together though, so older mods using 1.X versions do not get along with mods using 2.X versions. Out brilliant modders have created an extra mod that helps solve some of the problems with those different versions, but there might still be some issues.

It's important to understand that mods always come with some risk. Even the popular mods used by lots of people with an active creator who fixes bugs regularly might cause problems - or they might not. There are just no guarantees with mods.

You can lower your risks of losing a city some by avoiding mods that can't be removed again. Some mods like 81 tiles or Network Extensions 2 cannot be removed from a save once used, while other mods like Fine Road Anarchy are perfectly safe to remove any time. Then there's mods like TMPE or Ploppable RICO, which can be removed, but will likely leave your city in a bit of a mess. The more something alters things, the harder it is to remove. Anything that just gives you a tool that can be switched off in game (like road anarchy for example) or just makes visual changes (like Daylight Classic or Relight) are the safest kinds of mods you can use.

If you haven't come across it yet, I recommend giving this beginner's guide to mods a read. It covers a lot of the basics and gives you some idea of what to watch out for and what sort of risks come with modding.

Good news is that many players mod, so there's a lot of help to find in our community if you run into any issues. It might take some disabling stuff and testing to solve a problem, but most things we can solve and get you back to building your city.

And feel free to ask if you are unsure about some things! I might very well be so used to modding and troubleshooting that I forget some things or concerns, so don't hesitate to ask why I suggest something or how it might affect things. :)
