If you get a pop up when it crashes saying something like "Oops the game has crashed..." then the pop up mentions a folder, which contains a couple of files, that would be helpful in determining why it's crashing. You can find that folder by going to your games Library in Steam, right click on Cities: Skylines, select Properties, go to the tab Local Files and click the button Browse local files.
If you don't get the pop up, you will still have the output log (player.log on Mac and Linux). This guide explains where to find it.
Since we can't attach files here on Steam, you will need to upload them somewhere else and link to them. The guide also has some suggestions for sites you can use.
