As others have pointed out, it is not the same people who work on things like the weekly streams or the global collaboration videos. Colossal Order are the developers of the game and the ones who work on updates (DLCs or patches with bugfixes alike), while Paradox is the publisher, who handles the marketing and promotion, like streams and videos. So one does not take time away from the other.

Depending on what you would like an update for, there are different ways to let the developers know. For any bugs or issues in the game, those should be reported on the official forums here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/support-bug-reports.879/

Wishes for new features or DLCs can be shared and discussed on the official forums as well: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forums/suggestions-feedback.881/

The developers frequently read the forums, so while they may ofc chose not to add every wish, they do read feedback from players. :)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you! ^^

Once there's anything to share, there will be a news post. I know that's a super boring answer, but I'm afraid that's the only one I have. I'm not even sure when CO are due back from summer holidays, but it's usually around this time - which I'm sure you could have figured out without my help. :P

I do know that many of the additions to the game, both DLC ideas and mods which have been added to the game, came from the community. They tend to not post a lot on the forums, but they are lurking for sure. ^^

Originally posted by JC: I've been a long time fan of paradox, though new to cities. Granted the people making CKII&III are different folks but I swear CKIII sounds like they took the wishlists of things i've posted over the years and made the game just for me!

It is nice to have conformation that they do lurk. Like i said i'm sorta new to cities outside of being a lurker so i really don't know much about how they came up with the DLC's. I love games that take lots of community feedback and roll it into the game. Battletech which is now also under paradox took a ton from player requests, basically everything post launch including 3 DLC where all directly from player feedback so basically 2 years post launch dev was from players.

PS, as far as future content i knew it was a longshot, but i had to ask.

As a player it's so awesome to see devs listen and consider suggestions, even if they don't always agree. The games I played before Cities stole all my free time didn't really have much of that. The community just sorta existed on its own and sometimes the devs seemed to have no understanding of what made the game fun to a lot of players. It's been so awesome seeing ideas that started as mods make it into the game. ^^
