[2020] funny haze on map and option menu!

Did anything change around that time? Like a Windows update? An update for your graphics driver? Added/removed a mod?

I'd check for the latest graphics driver for your card and do a clean install of it.

If that doesn't help, try adding the launch options -noWorkshop and -disableMods to Steam, and start a new game to test if it still happens.

How To Set Launch Options

• Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.
  
• Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.
  
• Enter the launch options you wish to apply (be sure to separate each code with a space) and click OK. Should look like this:
  -noWorkshop -disableMods
• Close the game's Properties window and launch the game.
