[2020] Is there a mod that would change the night time to day time anytime the game is stopped and you select a road or something else to place in the map?

Extended InfoPanel also has an option for it. So lots of choices. Keep in mind that mods that control time have a tendency to not like each other, so you should only use one. And not all of them are compatible with mods that change the length of the day/night cycle, like Real Time. :)

Ah, so like when the overlays switch on automatically (when placing pipes for example). I don't remember seeing a mod like that, but it does sound like something that would be handy though.
