Make sure both tracks from the metro depot are connected to everywhere, as the game might try to spawn the trains from one track that can't reach where it's going.

You will also need to make sure, that the station closest to the depot is easy to reach. If I remember right, it will go to the stop closest to it. And that would be distance between the buildings, not anthing to do with travel time via the tracks.

Did you see the image in the guide? The one that shows wrong and correct connections in relation to metro stations.

Looking closer at your sceenshot, your depot is not connected correctly to the closest station. The tracks connect at a too sharp angle for any metro to come out of the depot and go to the station circled in this picture:

And you oversaw that the depot is connected with another station on that line.

No, I didn't miss that. :) I'm saying that the problem is, the depot needs to reach the specific station I circled. That's how it works. It won't work until you connect it in such a way, that the depot can reach that station. Give it a try. I'm sure it will help. :)

It's also not a good idea to have 2 different circles either - at least not if you mean you have 2 different tunnel systems. Everything should be connected for it to work best.
