[2019] Touchdown: Gone Forever?

Touchdown, since introduction, has been Clash Royale’s most unique game mode. All other new game modes have been based around the three towers map (other than heist, which has a heist box instead of the king and no princess towers). Touchdown, however, is completely unique, getting crowns once troops crossed the line at the end.

Since playing the game, I haven’t seen a touchdown challenge for about 6 months. Personally, I really like touchdown and want it to return. I do understand that it got slot of negative response from the community, though I personally really enjoyed it and hop it does return.

Will touchdown return to the game? Has it been removed outright? Has there been a Supercell response on it?
