[2019] Issues with star points...

I'm curious what is going on here. My son and I are both at King Level 12, and we both have multiple maxed out cards. When we receive extra cards for those which we have already maxed, the animation shows us that we are receiving star points (as well as the extra gold, of course).

Now, because we are still only at King Level 12, we do not yet see a star point counter, all we see is the blue XP counter. We know and understand that we cannot USE star points until we reach King Level 13, but the system has been showing us that we are actually RECEIVING star points.

We both presumed that the star points we have been receiving will eventually show up once we reach King Level 13, and will be available to us for use at that time. This presumption stems from the fact we can physically see on the screen that WE ARE RECEIVING star points. We even have screenshots that show a pile of little golden stars with a corresponding number to indicate how many star points we received at that time.

Unfortunately, this does not appear to be the case. My son recently achieved King Level 13, and of course he has no star points at all.

I submitted an inquiry in-app to CR Support, and their response was "In a nutshell, star points become available after he reaches Level 13. All extra copies he has in his maxed cards before reaching level 13, have already been converted into XP points, so that he will be able to reach the maximum level even faster."

OK, that sounds great, but...

I am still at King Level 12. Since they explained I should automatically be getting XP instead of the actual star points, I've been watching my XP levels. I've been making a note of them before I open my chests, and on those occasions when I have received additional copies of cards which I've already maxed... and again, I can see it on my screen that I AM RECEIVING star points... my XP counter does not increase at all.

So basically, something isn't right somewhere. I can see on-screen that I am receiving star points (although of course I have no counter yet by which to see them accumulate). I know I can't use them yet anyway. Apparently when I reach King Level 13, I will not get those star points (as evidenced by my son's account once he reached KL13). And even though they told me I am supposed to be receiving XP instead of the star points, I am not getting that either.

I'd appreciate it if someone at SC would look into this, and explain what is going on.
