If we go back a few months in this year Supercell hired 2 new community manager's, it was praised for a few reasons, finally we will have active people willing to interact with us. We could understand why Drew had to withdraw (mental health and over stressed) from public interaction.

Drew has moved on, I hope he finds what he needs, but what does this community need? Even though they hired 2 more people to be community managers we have not had a single interaction post by either.

I have to ask the question if the community managers are only dealing with CRL are they community manager's or only competitive players liaisons?

We are constantly ignored, they have little to no interaction with the community, I can understand to a certain extent that they have a fear of interacting with half a million strong community. But they are catering to 0.002% and congratulating themselves on doing that.

What is the point of being part of this forum/community if it is being ignored by supercell altogether. Mods are overworked/not active enough/not supported at all. There is quite a bit of toxicity, there is a humongous lack of belief in the games direction and no trust in major issues being fixed.

So what can we do? Can we ourselves fix it? Should we demand Supercell fix it? I know I am nearly done with the game because of some of these issues and some of own. I would appreciate anybody's insight or views on these issues.

Hey all,

I guess it's fair for you guys to ask for more interaction and communication. I agree that there wasn't much since my last (and only) post 4 months ago.

I'm always lurking, coming to the sub pretty much every day to check the discussions, trying to answer when I'm tagged in a post, commenting on stuff now and then, and reporting to the team what needs to be reported (comments, bugs, etc). My last wish is that you guys feel ignored because you are very much not.

I don't fear the community, I would be in a very awkward position if it were the case. My job is to be at the frontlines, and I like what I do.

We already thought about posts and discussions that could be interesting for everyone and start valuable conversations, but we always pushed them to later. We could maybe start again the "what we've been up to/casual AMA" series from Drew! We'll see :)

To answer some of your questions:

- We're not focusing on CRL players only. We're indeed more active on Twitter, them too, but our focus is on all players, including the millions who aren't on social and play the game every day.

- When you say "There is quite a bit of toxicity, there is a humongous lack of belief in the game's direction and no trust in major issues being fixed", I honestly don't think this can be solved only with communication. Good updates and fixes will solve that (the last two updates were actually in the right direction, and we could feel a shift in the community perception).

Thanks for sharing!
