Recently I had to have a refund of some of my cards and gold because I had refunded a purchase. Since I had gotten a chest refunded they had to take away a few cards and that included my inferno tower, a card that I had maxed, and instead of taking the golds worth of 5 inferno towers they took away the 5 inferno towers and my 100k gold that it took to upgrade my inferno tower. They took my maxed inferno tower to lvl 12, from maxed, without thinking about any gold at all. Where is this 100k gold? I’m not sure but I know that I don’t have it. Please give me back my 100k gold supercell because 100k gold is no throw away when you are trying to slowly, but surely, max your account.

Screenshots to show my situation^

This points out a major flaw in your system supercell, imagine if my inferno tower was star level 2, that’s 25k star points along with 100k gold and star points are much more rare than gold.

Update: I got my 100k gold back when I refunded but I did not notice this. You might say, YOU DIDNT NOTICE BEING 100k RICHER, which I say nope, as the refund was over 60k I was only around 40k richer and my gold has been around 200k-400k. But this doesnt take away from the fact that a card shouldn’t be downgraded from a refund and that supercell should disclose the fact that a card was downgraded and the gold for the upgrade has been given back.

Hey u/Jonger512

Really sorry about that! It's a bug which we should be rid of in the next update!

As for the gold, you did get it back! Don't worry. You have ~40k more gold than what you had before the refund took place. When you refunded we revoked the ~64k that you got with the offer, but we also gave you back the 100k that you spent on the upgrade!

No, I help out on here whenever I can. I try to post on threads where there is a misunderstanding or misinformation on a certain topic. Usually Drew, Tim or Seth will grab me if they feel something needs an answer from us.

In general support related questions are better answered in-game and not on Reddit. They are somewhat private matters better to not be discussed on public forums. It's also a little counterintuitive to start a one-man-support-channel on Reddit when we have a dedicated one in-game with thousands of support wizards ready to help.
