TLDR at the bottom of the post.
Hey guys I’ll run you down on how they scammed me. Two days ago I was randomly charged to my PayPal for a pouch of gems. My phone was on clash Royale before it was locked but it was on lock screen and face down on my lap as I played my league of legends game. It vibrated and said 7.90 CAD charged to me for a pouch of gems. I figured it was some sort of mistake or it was a delayed notification from another time.
Sure enough I check my bank account and I’m down 7.90. I check my account and I have my regular amount of gems (139). I waited a day or two to see if they’d pop up or something, as I figured I do play the game frequently and 7.90 is nothing and not worth the hassle of getting it back aslong as I receive what I was charged for (I never received).
I open clash Royale support and they say refunds are done directly through Apple, so I call Apple support and get it refunded. Next thing you know I get a variety of cards removed from my account, including a legendary (which means a lot to me as I only spend money on the game if I get a good offer which is rarely). They also take 16k (1/3 of what I have) 70 gems, and a handful of cards (will edit what was taken in).
I contacted clash Royale support, they completely ignore the fact that I didn’t receive anything for the purchase that I refunded for that reason being, close my ticket, now will not respond to anything I say. So scummy of them.
Sorry if there’s format issues I’m posting this from my phone.
Tldr: Supercell charged me, I didn’t receive what they charged me for. I requested a refund and they took a large variety of my cards, coins and gems to compensate for my refund. But once again I was charged for no reason and never received what I was charged for.
