Hello! I've been thinking for some time how I really want a Clan WAR on a map, not a race, so I combined CW1 with CW2 features into this proposal.

The map:

Is divided into 13 Arenas, 4 clans (or maybe just 2) start controlling an arena in each corner, or it could be random. War lasts 1 week like in CW2, Phase 1 from Monday until Friday morning, Phase 2 from Friday until Monday morning.

Matchmaking:

Clans are matched on clan member count: those over 10, 20, 30, and over 40 members. Optionally each member could have an opt out button which would block him from clan wars until the next week after he reenables to opt in. Only those who are opt in will be counted for the clan size. Also to fix timezone issue, clans are matched based on their clan location in 3 regions: North and South America, Europe and Africa, Asia and Australia. Battle matchmaking could be either global like now or other players playing in that same arena (from 1 to 13) as players battle to gain more fame in each arena.

Phase 1: Conquer the arenas!

Each player has 2 battles everyday, you tap on a neighbouring unconquered arena and a selection of game modes appear (like the party button), containing modes like draft, rage, classic decks, etc. then you battle for fame to conquer the arena!

Each win gives 100 fame, and the amount needed to conquer an arena depends on clan size:

  • Over 10 members: 1000 fame per arena
  • Over 20 members: 2000 fame per arena
  • Over 30 members: 3000 fame per arena
  • Over 40 members: 4000 fame per arena

In phase 1 you can only attack unclaimed arenas or your own clan's arenas to gain more fame in that arena and gold! You cannot attack arenas owned by other clans yet.

Phase 2: Clan Wars!

Starting Friday morning you can attack enemy arenas to conquer them! Everyone plays 1 duel (or maybe 2) each day, and each duel win gives 500 fame!

The clan that gathers the most fame gains control of that arena.

At the end of the war, depending on the number of arenas each clan owns, they are put between 1st and 5th place. If 2 or more clans own the same number of arenas, then the one with more fame gained gets the better place. If a clan loses control of all arenas they can still play to gain control, otherwise at the war end they get the boot. Clan war chest also now gives 1 trade token for 1st and 2nd place, 50% chance for 3rd, 33% for 4th and 20% for 5th place.

Optional: Heroes!

Heroes should not be added to ladder, instead they should be added somehow to Clan Wars, either:

A) Clan Hero: each clan could have it's own hero on the map, along with clan quests and clan perks. The clan leader uses the fame gained to upgrade or buy other heroes which gives different clan perks.

Or

B) Individual player hero: each player has his own hero that he uses, upgrades with dark elixir or fame he made, they are used in clan wars in game modes and/or duels and maybe some special challenges, with their special abillities in battle as I'm sure SC playtested before.

There were lots of ideas about heroes in battle so I will not expand further on this topic.

I hope you like my ideas as I spent some hours to do this, thank you, and clash on.

love this idea. i've always wanted some sort of territory control system in a supercell game - i think it's a really cool mechanic. closest we got was rush wars (RIP!)

the idea about a specific game mechanic only being introduced in clan wars has also been something we've spoken about a lot - we originally wanted to have 'clan cards' that you could only unlock through CW2. but that itself raises a lot of questions!
