[2022] Will someone please for the love of god tell me what is going on in this alternate universe of no +1 instant elixir at 2x??

It seems not a lot of people know but for those experienced players up until very recently when 2x elixir started you received +1 free instant elixir. I lost a few games in a row of mid ladder with my elixir golem deck and knew something was up..

I just checked 4 games in a row and I am not receiving the +1 elixir boost when 2x starts anymore.. I can’t find a single thing about it online, or in the patch/update notes for the last few months.

What in the **** is going on? Supercell? Anyone? My deck is completely nerfed now with no explanation.
