we haven't changed the welcome back gift!
but we do have several 'thresholds' depending on how long a player has been away from the game, what king level they are, and what arena they are in.
the longer they are away, the better welcome back gift the player will get.
OP's 2500 gold is the lowest level of welcome back gift, which means they weren't away from the game for very long.
Yeah i figured it was something of sorts but 2500 gold still seems kinda like a weird gift to give for returning after a period of time
it's better than no gift at all! but we also don't want to incentivize not playing the game lol
I was away for over half a year and got the 2500 gold as well, how long do you need to be away for?
it also depends on your king level & arena, if you are away for a long time but low level, you will still get the gold.
