Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community and welcome to the last Community Update for Season 1 – Heist. As you may have seen earlier today, we have a brand-new season on the way and coming next week! We are excited and ready to bring you new content with a season focused on counter terrorism forces - get ready for Season 2: Task Force 141!
If you are one of our veteran players who has been around since the beginning then you’ll recognize this theme from our first Season 4, which was called Disavowed and released around this same time period in 2020! That season introduced many of these operators for the first time to many new Call of Duty players and since then they’ve become beloved operators in mobile as well.
Alex, Ghost, Gaz, Price, and more members of that are squad have reunited in order to take the fight to some cunning new foes. You’ll be able to see all of this going on through the comics, upcoming trailers, and more that we plan to release over the next week as we get closer to the launch of the new season.
Task Force 141 is Back in Action
Related that beloved TF141 crew, if you didn’t see it earlier this week we announced that Alex – Hard Wired and Ghost – Taskforce are two of the main operators featured in the Season 2 Battle Pass! Additionally, Ghost is getting his voice back in Season 2 and that should apply to all previous operators and this new variant. Here is our trailer that announced that:

Feedback Recap
This season we’ve gone over many different topics, some old and familiar while others are newer to this specific season. We won’t bring up the exact ones from last week’s post (other than bans), but here is a recap of other topics we’ve brought up and of course feel free to ask about anything in response to this update. We are always happy to jump in and share info whenever we can.
Bans – This week has seen even more discussion around bans and it has been fairly regular throughout all of Season 1. We’ve been jumping around to various areas in the community to try to help check bans and confirm they are legitimate (or reverse them if they aren’t), and we encourage everyone to reach out to us if you are looking for a simple check like that. Just let us know your UID or username (case sensitive), and we’d be happy to have our security team double check. However, apologies in advance if we miss your request since we are unfortunately not omniscient.
Lag – We are continuously investigating any spikes or perceived issues with lag, whether it is something like ‘my lag increased after Season 1 released’ or something like ‘everyone in X region seems to be having issues today’. We have a team regularly monitoring the servers, but we also ping them whenever we see evidence of something unusual or a spike in issues. We are continuously working to improve servers and add new servers to populated areas that are struggling to get a low average ping.
Mythics Returning – Amusingly one of the first topics we had discussed this season was about the frequent requests to have Mythics return. Well, shortly after that we had another Legendary Draw return with the Forged Steel Redux (live in-game right now), but we are also still working on ways to bring new options to the store and to return Mythics. No news yet, but we will share once we can!
Ghost VO – In case you didn’t see it above, this long requested VO is coming back in Season 2 alongside that new Ghost variant! Hopefully everyone who asked, “is Ghost VO coming?” and we responded with an eyes emoji or shrugging gif now understands why we were unwilling to confirm or deny haha.
Bugs Recap

Final Notes
There isn’t much for us to share or communicate for now about Season 1 but thank you all for the support and discussions around our first season of 2022! We have a significant amount planned for this year, including some excellent BR-related content that we’ve seen many players ask about in the past. No hints as to what that is just yet, but you can be rest assured that as soon as we can talk about it we’ll be spilling those details here.
For now, keep an eye on our social channels for Season 2: Task Force 141 news as we’ll keep pumping out new social posts day after day while we inch closer to the S2 launch on 2/24 UTC. One of those new posts will be our usual flythrough focused on the new MP map, Hardhat (as seen above), while for the rest you can expect to see operators, weapons, BP content, and more! With that said, take care and see you next week for the Season 2 release post!
