Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community and welcome to the mid-season Community Update for Season 1 – Heist. Hopefully, you are enjoying all of the new content this season has to offer as much as we are! At this point in the Season, the majority of content and modes are live which we will touch on below. But before that let’s look ahead to Season 2 -

Seasonal Challenges
All 5 Seasonal Challenges are now live! Since our Season 1 launch Community Update, we have had three more Seasonal Challenges added to the arsenal, including Finders Keepers, Kilo 141: Locked and Loaded, and Get Gud. We will dive into those three below, but if you want more details on the other two Seasonal Challenges that are live go ahead and check out our last Community Update.

Finders Keepers
This six-part Seasonal Challenge will have you proving yourself in Battle Royale. Tasks include dealing damage to enemies, placing high while rocking an assault rifle, and more. Completing all the tasks will earn you a whopping 11,000 Battle Pass XP and the following items:

  • Medic – Artbeat (Uncommon)
  • XPR-50 – Artbeat (Uncommon)
  • Charm – D4 (Rare)
  • QXR – Escape Plan (Rare)

Kilo 141: Locked and Loaded
The Seasonal Challenge we have all been waiting for 😉! This seven-part Seasonal Challenge will have you proving your worth with a variety of Assault Rifles in MP. For completing all tasks you’ll be awarded 11,000 Battle Pass XP and the following items:

  • MK2 – Artbeat (Uncommon)
  • Spray – Fine Five (Rare)
  • New Functional Weapon - Kilo 141
  • Calling Card – Close Combat (Rare)

Get Gud
This seven-part Seasonal Challenge is as simple as the title to complete…just get gud. Jokes aside, you’ll need to “get gud” across ranked MP matches to complete tasks for this mission. Completing all these tasks will earn you 11,000 Battle Pass XP and the following items:

  • Knife – Artbeat (Uncommon)
  • Arctic .50 – Escape Plan (Rare)
  • Frame – Blood Moon Frame (Rare)
  • SKS – Crimson Sonata (Epic)

Featured Event: Clan Wars 2022
This featured event, like past Clan Wars' events, is all about progressing your Clan in Clan Wars -whether it’s competing in specific modes or teaming up with members of your Clan. In addition to all the points you will be getting for your Clan by completing tasks in this event, you will also be able to earn Clan Credits which can be used in the Clan Wars store. You will also be able to earn:

  • MSMC – Cityscape (Rare)
  • Spray – Dead on (Rare)

MP Mode - Payout S&D
Payout Search and Destroy returns! A fitting twist on theme with Season One – Payout S&D brings customized kits and the ability to earn gold to purchase weapons and equipment during the match for better odds defending or defusing the bomb.

Forged Steel Draw Redux
Legendary Mace – Final Guard is back and available for purchase in-game now along with his Legendary burst-fire Renetti – Metal Phantom and the rest of the Epic and Legendary items in the initial Forged Steel Draw. It isn’t often we bring back a Legendary Character in a redux draw, but we have been seeing you all ask for another opportunity at getting at them and for Mace – Final Guard specifically! The Forged Steel Draw Redux will be live in-game until 2/24 (UTC).

Feedback

Balancing – We see your posts about which melee weapons, operator skills, and perks are OP, and we hear you. Balancing these just right takes time, especially in regard to balancing for both highly skilled players (like most of you reading this) and everyone else. We are always passing this information on to the team to take into consideration.

Sniper Challenge – We saw quite a lot of buzz around the inclusion of Pistols in the BR Sniper Challenge. While intended to highlight snipers and their unique use in BR, it seems like players generally chose the more versatile pistol in this challenge which caused a stir. We’ve relayed this information to the team. While it may not be changed for this exact challenge, it will be considered for future challenges.

Clan Wars – We recently reworked the Clan Wars rewards so you could earn shards of a variety of Clan Wars reward operators rather than just the current bi-seasonal one. We have noticed your feedback around getting shards for an Operator that is already completed and shared that with the team. We’ll share any news or changes about this in future updates.

Bans – We regularly see ban inquiries throughout all community channels and these come in the form of cheater reports, ban inquiries, or ban appeals. Cheater reports we will regularly snag and report up the respective team, but for inquiries and appeals we don’t often jump in on those topics since we can share very little information back. However, we are always willing to double-check any bans, especially if they have odd circumstances, like the classic Ferg one from a few weeks ago.

Bugs

Pitch Black Crate – The Pitch Black Crate was briefly giving out the wrong content. This should now be resolved in-game, however, if you did purchase the Pitch Black Crate and didn’t get the correct contact please contact our support options listed below.

Weekly Weapon Leaderboard Rewards – We have been seeing reports that the weekly rewards for the weapon leaderboards haven’t been sending properly in Season 1 so far. The team is aware of the issue and is working on getting this resolved.

Hacienda Bots – We – like some of you – noticed bots behaving strangely on the newest MP map Hacienda. Specifically pausing for extended periods of time until being approached by another player. The team is aware of this and is working on a fix.

Legendary QQ9 – Melting Point – Looks like since the Season 1 update on the Legendary QQ9 has lost some of its reactive changes after getting kills in-game. The team is aware and looking into it.

Kilo Bolt-Action – Constable Ironsights – The team is aware that while using ironsights on the Kilo Bolt-Action – Constable Blueprint the view is blocked.

Clan Wars Nodes – We saw some reports the Skilled Battle node in Clan Wars was not tracking. With the node gone it won’t be fixed, but we have alerted the team so if it comes back into rotation it should be resolved.

Creator Club
Today is the final day to apply to the Call of Duty: Mobile Creator Club – our new inclusive incubator program celebrating our diverse and awesome community of content creators, big and small. Thank you to everyone who has already applied, but for anyone else interested make sure to get in those applications as soon as possible!

The program is currently in beta, so this round of applications is limited to those in the United States and Mexico, but we plan to roll the program out globally later in the year. Check out the Creator Club website for more details and to apply!

Hey there! Hmmm, yeah we had reported a ton of missing VO last season, sorry to hear there are some stilling missing their voices. We'll ping the team to let them know these two still need a fix, thanks for the callout! Also, appreciate the feedback about the default look option, the team is always looking for ways to make our weapons look great while integrating with various blueprints so I'll pass that along.

Hey there, thanks for bringing this to our attention! Just for clarity do you mean the unique firing sounds of the weapon? We will ping the team to see if that is intended or not, and if not get them working on a fix. Just so they have all the info, when did you first notice its missing sound? From the moment you got it? Also, is the sound missing across all graphical settings for you? Thanks!

Heya, thanks for the questions!

  1. Yes, if they are both using the "default" voice then that is normal. However, neither of those operators have the default voice or the same voice actor. Sounds like a bug or just weird similarity? Is that the only specific time you are hearing the same VO overlap for them?
  2. No news on any Aether camo changes at the moment. Sorry.
  3. Soon hopefully! We have some changes coming to this system and more ways to choose what is manual/automatic in the future. However, some aspects of the "automatic" side of things will always be there, but we agree that it is a little wonky at the moment and needs some improvements.

Hey, so we were looking into that a bit after all of the comments here about Lightweight and we can't tell exactly when it become something folks here disliked. We see some old posts, some new posts, and quite a bit of discussion to the point where not everyone seems to think it is too weak. Anyways, happy to push that up to the team as feedback but any extra context about that would be lovely and appreciated!

Also, for Quick Fix that is intentional for balance reasons to try make it too not powerful. We aren't aware of any plans to change that, but as with any feedback please feel free to share and voice that feedback anytime (just like this), and we'll always try our best to make our teams are aware of that.

So you are referring to from datamined or early versions of that weapon? The final version of that weapon should not have any special spoken sound effects like that. Was it advertised anywhere by us? If so, we'd like to correct that.

Hey, we actually did a bunch of statistics back during our 2nd Anniversary but it didn't include modes on purpose. We originally wanted to do modes too, but they weren't interesting enough as a single statistic (like each one in the 2nd anniversary example) unless we did it as a whole separate image dedicated to the top modes.

As you might expect, depending on how you filtered it, the top MP modes were mostly TDM, S&D, and Kill Confirmed. However, there were a lot of ways to filter that based on Ranked, Limited Time Modes, Seasons, the number of times those modes have been available, and MP or BR.
