So, I've been banned for 7 days for the 2nd time. I'm pretty good at the game and reach legendary on MP each season, never faced any problems with bans until I started using the deagle as my primary.

I play S&D only (mainly because I miss Counter Strike, don't have a PC to play anymore) and don't slide or do any fancy moements, my playstyle is mostly about holding angles and relying on my game sense and gun skills only. Every time I have been banned, there have been a bunch of super salty players on the opponent team who have accused me of cheating simply because they got headshot by my deagle. I'm pretty good at the game and manage to get upto 12-15 kills on Legendary with deagle only (and the occassional sniper kill).

This time, we won 5-0 with me getting 15 frags. Even before the match ended, multiple opponents started spamming the chat with 'he is cheating', 'ban him' etc. Sure enough, I got disconnected mid game in the next game and was greeted with a 7 day ban message.

I'm worried that the next time it will probably be a perma-ban. What do I do to avoid getting banned? Should getting someone banned be this easy? It's common knowledge that bans cannot be reversed (unless you're a streamer with a significant amount of following), so please do comment and let me know what I should do (apart from quitting this game altogether).

Heya, it is pretty unlikely to run into any issues with false bans like you are talking about. We have gone through hundreds of ban appeals from the community and fewer than 5 ended up having something questionable about them where we ended up reversing the ban. We don't generally discuss the details of how bans work or why someone might get banned, because not only would it help people avoid triggering those enforcements but others might exploit it or find loopholes.

Anyways, with all of that said we are always happy to check on one like this that sounds questionable/weird. Mind sharing your UID? That's your public ID on your profile that anyone can see (please don't share your Player ID).

Wow, thanks a lot for replying. Not sure how I can get my uid as I cannot log in to the game right now, however, the registered email for my COD account is [email protected].

Thanks, afraid we can't check via email (also we would recommend hiding that in case some bot finds it and starts spamming you emails), but could you just share your username instead (case sensitive)?
