Greetings Call of Duty: Mobile Community! It's nearly the end of 2021 and that means we have just enough time for one more community update. It has been a pleasure to be with you all throughout the year and to share over 40 community updates with you all! Those updates could have been seasonal release ones like last week's post or they could have been about Esports, giveaways, or public test builds. We've been able to cover a lot and mainly thanks to your ongoing desire for these.
From the start we always wanted to do our best to release these weekly, but it hasn't always made sense to do so (like if there isn't much releasing in-game that week) and sometimes we get too wrapped up in releases or events, like 80 Action Heroes, to do a normal post. However, looking back it is great to see just how much we've all been able to talk and share through these community posts.
If that image above isn't clear enough, thank you all very much for every conversation, every post, every question, and for of course being one of our players! We are a little more than 2 years into the life of Call of Duty: Mobile now and we have no desire to stop bringing you new content, new seasons, new events, new crossovers, and more!
You can look forward to plenty to come on that front in 2022. For this last update we want to share plenty of information so you know what's coming and releasing, but we also wanted to focus on the community. We've seen so many wonderful posts, fan art, videos, weapon designs, and more shared throughout the year, so we've decided to dedicate most of this post to some of our favorite community highlights from 2021.
Before that though, we've got your latest event calendar and an absolutely wonderful holiday themed cinematic to share! You all here are getting an early look at this video (goes live in a few hours on our social channels). This video is another labor of love by one of our best creative teams who A) really love to bring a comedic touch to the world of CODM and B) know how to make it as high quality, fun, and thematic as possible. Enjoy and Happy Holidays everyone!

Now that we've told you all how much we loved you and all of that sappy stuff, let's turn to the community highlights! This is a compilation of highlights we've done not just here on Reddit, but also during our Community Takeover events on social media where we asked you all to submit fan art or other creatives (with 100s of submissions) related to a certain event or season. Enjoy!
Let's start it off with the most recent and most relevant highlight related to the CODM comics!
Highlight - S10 Animated Comics - By u/CODMComics We think it is fairly obvious why these are unique and worth highlighting, but we've always wanted to be able to highlight the comics more outside of the game and it was a joy to see a fan going through these lengths to create this animated video. Check it out below:
CODMComics' Season 10 Animated Recap
Thank you again u/codmcomics for your passion and for wanting to share the comics with an audience outside of the game! If you would like to support this player and anything additional creatives they may do, then look no further than these social channels:

Highlight - Gingerbread Nuketown - By u/Archaleus
This was our first community highlight last year after returning from the break and it was a fantastic mixture of Call of Duty and Christmas. Making gingerbread houses is a bit of a tradition in many places and generally tied to Christmas or this general holiday season, and Archaleus decided that Nuketown Russia was an ideal map to recreate.
Last year he said this was all spurred by wanting to do this normal family activity of building gingerbread houses, but he wanted to go further and make something tied to Call of Duty. He even created a making of video here on their YouTube, which is perfectly complete with the sacrificial ending of burning down Nuketown. Thanks Archaleus once again for the fantastic creation! We hope you got an excuse to make some gingerbread houses this year.
Highlight - Looping Seasons - By un_belli_vable
Just another quick call-out, but if you have any sensitivities to quickly moving images with a lot of stark visual changes this video below may be bothersome. We would recommend skipping this one.
Going to back to a relatively recent highlight, this lobby highlight by un_belli_vable had earned them a lot of fans. They took the bare versions of the lobbies from many seasons, with no interface shown, and looped it. It is quick, but it is lovely to quickly see all of those themes and designs come to life once again. Throwback! We hope you enjoy this one like we did.

Highlight - CODM Fan Art - Sarcstoon
This artist is still active a whole year later and while they haven't had any new CODM art to show their art is still something worth highlighting! We saw their Urban Tracker fan art last February and were intrigued by the style, quality, and unique approach to her design. Just stellar all around!
The same praise we give to the rest of their art too, whether it is CODM related or not. If you are similarly intrigued and would like to see more of their work then you are in luck! They have a variety of places to check out on the web, with Artstation being the mostly updated from what we can tell:
- YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClQ-Byi1KgJyaEn-UCffLYA
- Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sarcastoon/?hl=en
- Art Station: https://www.artstation.com/sarcastoon
We hope they continue to create art and build on what is already some impressive skill. We'll keep an eye out to see if they make anything CODM related in the future.
Highlight - CODM Cake - by rjsp17
We haven't had many posts about food related to CODM (unless you count that gingerbread house), but this original thread from earlier in the year drew the appreciation of over 3000 members of this community. User rjsp17 was celebrating their 23rd birthday and was lucky enough to have a girlfriend who was willing to go all-out for him. She made him a custom cake and an anniversary care package.
It's clear to see why the community rallied behind such a wholesome and unique post. We don't know what's in store for 2022, but we hope we see some more Call of Duty: Mobile related food creations show up haha. Weapon designs, fan art, and all of that are great, but everyone loves food attached to a positive, fun, and charming story.
Highlight - Fan Art - by Narchi
It's hard to do a community highlight recap without mentioning the extremely talented Narchi. They were one of our very first fan art highlights (if not the first) and continue to make CODM related art to this day on top of other great designs. Here is a recent piece of art they did for our first female legendary operator:
We've always appreciated their fun, detailed, and anime style approach to their art. We are sure we'll have another Narchi highlight coming in 2022, but for now if you'd like to see anymore of their art then their Instagram seems to be the best place to go: https://www.instagram.com/narchiartwork/
Highlight - Rambo All The Way - by HeyItsCY3ER
During our unique 80s Action Heroes event, which was all about bringing Die Hard and Rambo into the Call of Duty universe, we had a community takeover where we asked for fan art, top plays, or anything related to the event. There is one particular picture we always think of when we think of this event, and it is this delightful Rambo cosplay by HeyItsCY3ER.
Sure, we focus a lot of art, weapon designs, or general creatives for spotlights, but we can't forget about the person behind the message. It was lovely to see HeyItsCY3ER put themselves out there by posting this to our 300K followers on Twitter (and for letting us share it)! HeyItsCY3ER is very active in the CODM space and has plenty of content you may be interested to see, if so head no further than their Twitter: https://twitter.com/HeyItsCY3ER
Highlight - Fan Art - by Oyelrak
This Reddit user we highlighted about six months ago for creating some fun and adorable fan art of CODM operators. As they described them, they were "Snoo" versions of the operators. Since then they have done additional posts but sadly have stopped sharing out new art in this community. Here is one of their last posts here and their Ghost - Retribution art from that thread:

Highlight - Into The Aether - by Taken_username456
When Undead Siege first released we were thrilled by not only the amount of support for it, but also the many posts about tactics, teamwork, and working together here in the community. We saw a post by u/taken_username456 that really exemplified that "team" aspect Undead Siege and how on the higher difficulties you must be a tight-knit team to survive.
Into the Aether by Taken_username456
Taken_usernames456 created this to show a team teleporting through an Aether portal. It is perfectly appropriate for Undead Siege and clartly the rest of the community thought so too based on the huge amount of support for their original post.
That's it for this community update everyone and for the rest of the year from our community team. We are off to take a much needed holiday break, but if you need any assistance please don't hesitate to reach out our support teams who will still generally be available in some capacity. Thank you all for everything and stay safe out there over this holiday break!! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
